Getting started
What is N7FORA?
A private relationship operating system. It remembers everyone you meet — with the context, history, and open commitments — and helps you follow through, while keeping provenance on every fact and consent on every action.
How do I capture a contact?
Open Capture and scan a business card, paste an email signature, tap a badge, or type it in. On the web app you can pair your phone over local Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or USB and use it as the scanner — the card lands on your computer without routing through our servers.
Does it work on web and phone?
Yes. The web app runs on any modern browser (install it as a PWA for an app-like experience). Native iPhone and desktop apps are on the roadmap.
Privacy & consent
Who can see my data?
You. Across a team, colleagues can see that a relationship exists and request a warm path — but never your private notes, history, or documents. We never resell data.
Does anything send automatically?
No. Every outbound action — an email, a connection request, an introduction — is drafted for your review and waits for an explicit confirmation. There is a global kill switch for all automations.
How does enrichment consent work?
When we find public matches for a new contact, nothing is linked until you review each source. We cross-check the email and phone across networks so you can confirm it's really the same person, then you approve source by source.
Do you track my location?
Only if you turn it on. GPS is opt-in, live-only, and never leaves your device without permission. “Nearby” presence is mutual — you only see contacts who chose to share with you, and it's never stored to history.
Capture & import
What can I import from?
CamCard, Evernote, Sansan/Eight, ABBYY, and standard files — CSV, Excel, Word, vCard, PDF, and more. Bring your whole network in one pass.
Can I bulk-scan cards?
Yes. Feed a stack or a commercial scanner and N7FORA auto-sorts and routes them, flagging duplicates and low-confidence reads for a quick review.
What file formats are supported?
CSV, TSV, TXT, XLSX/XLS, DOCX/DOC, vCard, PDF, JSON, Numbers, and ODS.
Billing & plans
How does billing work?
Plans are billed annually, per seat. Staff and admins can view and change the plan, seats, and payment method. Payments are handled by Stripe — card details never touch our servers.
Is there a trial?
Yes. Admins can issue gift tokens and extend free access, so a team can roll out before billing starts.
Security
Where is my data stored, and is it encrypted?
Your workspace data is isolated per tenant and encrypted at rest and in transit. Captured card images stay in your private vault.
Do you resell or share my data?
Never. Privacy-by-default and no data resale are core commitments — see the Privacy Center for detail.
